This warning light indicates an issue with the Diesel Particulate Filter, which is responsible for removing harmful soot from exhaust gases to reduce emissions. If the light comes on, it may mean that the filter is blocked with soot and not functioning properly.

Can I still drive with the DPF light on?

Driving with a blocked DPF is not recommended.

• A blocked filter can release toxic black smoke every time you accelerate.
• Continued driving could cause serious engine damage and lead to costly repairs.

What should I do?

• Pull over safely as soon as possible.
• Turn off the engine.
