You will be asked to provide the hire car registration number along with information on your geographical location.
The call handler will arrange for the replacement/repair of the windscreen/glass. However, please note that, in busy periods or during inclement weather, our windscreen repair partners may experience delays in attending to customers. Alternatively you will have the option to book the car in for repair at a time convenient to yourself during your rental period.
As part of your responsibilities under the Motability scheme you are required to notify Direct Line of any damage sustained on the hire car whilst in your care. Please ensure that you call Direct Line on 0300 037 3737 to also register the claim details.
Please be aware that a £50 glass excess may apply to damages sustained to the hire car. This will be payable to Europcar once your scheme car is returned to you.
